Celebrating Our Stories: Harmony Day at Abbotsleigh
At C3 Education, we believe that every student’s background is a vital part of their learning journey. This Harmony Day, our founder Christine Wan had the privilege of speaking at Abbotsleigh to share her personal story.
Reflecting on her journey as a migrant from Vietnam, Christine spoke to students about the challenges and triumphs of navigating a new a culture as a child. Christine shared a poem from her own poetry collection – Letting Go: A Migrant Story. It was a poignant reminder of how literacy and creative expression can help us process our history and find our voice.
It was a beautiful day of connection, reminding us all of the key message of Harmony Day — that everyone belongs.
